Most certifications are designed to make money and not to validate people’s skill levels.
And to be fair, it’s difficult to validate someone’s ability. But, that’s what makes the Minimalist Management badging program so special.
Our members begin by stating their intent with the Signatory badge and work their way up by proving their knowledge and expertise. This means that when we award a badge, you can be confident that the person will have the knowledge and expertise that goes along with their level of certification.
Signatory Status
Signatories are people who have self-certified their commitment to the values and principles of Minimalist Management. They are willing to publicly state their intent to the world and make a statement that they will do the right thing.
While there is no formal training associated with the Signatory badge, it should not be taken lightly. It takes courage to make such a bold statement and many Signatories are in the process of earning additional certifications and badges.
Practitioner Status
People who have earned the Practitioner badge have completed the Minimalist Management Training program. This shows that they are willing to dedicate time and money to their own personal growth and that they believed in the ideas of the program enough to continue their journey beyond the signatory tier.
In addition to completing the course, members at this tier must have had a conversation with one of our expert trainers to validate their comprehension and learning.
To earn the Approved status, Minimalist Managers must have earned the practitioner badge and enrolled in and successfully completed all assignments within the coaching program. The assignments require candidates to put the Minimalist Management practices to the test and to keep a log of their results. As part of the approval process, the logs are reviewed and feedback is gathered from the candidate's peer groups to evaluate the person's mindset and comprehension. Only those people that successfully complete the program will be awarded the Approved status.
Verified Status
A Verified status is ONLY issues when an individual has completed all lower-level certifications and has achieved the required results. The results must also be validated by other people from their organization.
Our validation team will reach out and interview the person and the people they work with to validate that the results are real and accurate.
Once a Minimalist Manager has been validated, their co-worker’s official statements along with our official findings are posted to their profile and their badge is earned.
